Introduction:
This workshop provides participants with the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills required to use specialised equipment in the provision of resuscitation in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines.
HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation is also included in this workshop.

- Safe use of oxygen devices in the emergency field
- Administration of oxygen therapy
- Resuscitation using oxygen equipment
- Bag-valve-mask resuscitation
- Oropharyngeal airway
- Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use
- Selection of oxygen masks with tubing, nasal cannula, therapy mask, resuscitation mask with oxygen port
